Imagine waking up at sunrise and strolling slowly to the beach for your daily meditation and yoga session. With your feet in the sand and the view on the sea you can feel your body filling up with new energy.
Later you can fill your stomach at the delicious brunch buffet and receiving some information about the current day's topic. After brunch you will have the afternoon at your own disposal. You can walk on the beach, relax by the sea or pool, book an appointment at the spa, work out in the fitness center or do other sports activities. No matter what you choose, do whatever you feel like!
In the later afternoon you may join a gentle yoga session, and before dinner you will have some additional free time for sauna, spa or relaxation.
After dinner we will end the evening with a meditation and then stay in silence until brunch the next day.

In this week-long retreat, we detach ourselves from everyday life and embark on a search for inner and outer freedom.
We practice asana, meditation and pranayama twice a day, whenever possible in the open air directly on the beach, with a view on the sea. If the weather allows, we will also do a hike through the dessert and practice yoga in the dessert at full moon.
In between, you may organize your day yourself to your linking. Maybe you want to enjoy the tranquillity of the desert, listen to the sound of the sea, read, swim or walk on the beach? Let yourself be inspired by the beauty and silence of this touching landscape.
In addition to the physical practice, you will also get some inspiration for your mind and soul. From journaling to visualization exercises for creating a positive and successful future,... get inspired and take home whatever speaks to you.
Asanas are the physical form of yoga. They refine the consciousness and let us improve our condition, strength and flexibility, but also deeply relax and expand and rediscover our spirituality.
Meditation brings more mindfulness into our lives and helps us to live our lives consciously.
With Pranayama we learn to consciously perceive and control our breath - and thus to activate our life energy (chi) and bring it to flow. The breathing exercises are effective against stress and sometimes cause energy surges that no caffeine shot can match. They have a detoxifying effect and can have a healing effect on illnesses such as allergies and asthma.
This retreat is for all yoga enthusiasts.
You are free to do whatever you want, but we do not recommend this retreat to absolute yoga novices. You should have already attended at least 2-3 yoga classes so that you know what yoga is about.
The retreat is in English. Since Linda Maria is fluent in German (and Swiss German), she can explain things to you in German as well. But you should have a basic understanding of the English language.

It takes about a 40 minutes drive from the airport to our unique five star boutique hotel Casa Cook el Gouna.
The Casa Cook is located on the outer edge of el Gouna, directly on the beach which invites you to long walks.
The hotel is very stylishly furnished and gives a feeling of a modern Bali in the middle of the desert.
All rooms offer a sofa, air conditioning, wifi, TV, fridge, safe, shower, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, as well as a telephone (telephone calls for a fee) in addition to a large bed.
Sauna, spa, pool, beach and various sports facilities provide a pleasant atmosphere and a good mix of relaxation and dynamism for our seminar.
